Majapahit conquered almost all of the Indonesian archipelago in the 14th century.
The Majapahit Empire, considered as one of the greatest kingdoms in Indonesian and South East Asian history. Expanding from Indonesia to the Malayan peninsula, Thai Kingdom, Philipines and other islands in South East Asia until its final glorious days ended in Bali. Majapahit also had a connection with other big empires such as China and India for trading and culture exchange. From that era, Indonesia was influenced by the art, lifestyle, religion and cuisine.
